Project description

Through its BiRD platform, the IFB is helping to promote the emergence in France of innovative digital health solutions with a strong socio-medical impact. The objective is to position France as a leader in the field of digital health, particularly in the cardiovascular and neurological fields, as well as in the modeling of multimodal observational and interventional data, thanks to artificial intelligence.

Every two seconds, someone suffers a stroke. Despite these shocking statistics, many people affected by stroke cannot access the treatment, rehabilitation, and support that would give them the best chance of recovery and leading healthier, more productive, and independent lives. Among strokes, ruptured intracranial aneurysms (ICAs) are a leading cause of lost productive life years, with significant economic consequences.

The NEUROVASC project aims to establish an optimal digital ecosystem to develop predictive tools/models for 5P medicine (personalized, predictive, preventive, participatory, population-based) against the evolution of ICA and stroke, relying mainly on the distinctive resources developed by the French clinical network in neuroradiology.
