The MUDIS4LS project, coordinated by the IFB, is organising a workshop on FAIR compliance for metabarcoding data on 10 April 2026.

The FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable) have now become a key and essential indicator of robust science. Not sure where to start? The MUDIS4LS project team invites you to tackle this challenge in manageable steps, one at a time, so that you can apply these principles to your existing and future metabarcoding data.

Workshop programme

  • Sharing experiences from a variety of backgrounds in the field of metabarcoding;
  • What does the literature offer us? Existing standards and best practices within the community;
  • Further development of the ‘FAIRification’ of metabarcoding data;
  • If time permits: applying these concepts to your actual data.

We encourage you to come along with your tricky questions. If we don’t have the answer straight away, we’ll work together to find it.
