The ATLASea exploratory research programme – Atlas of Marine Genomes, funded under the France 2030 plan, is structured around several targeted projects corresponding to different scientific and technological stages.
Among these various projects, BYTE-Sea, led by the French Institute of Bioinformatics (IFB/ELIXIR-FR), is responsible for setting up the digital infrastructure and developing interfaces to access the genomic data produced by ATLASea, monitor its progress and facilitate its use by the scientific community.
This project is coordinated by Erwan Corre (ABiMS – IFB) and draws on the IFB’s digital infrastructure, located at the IFBcore site at IDRIS, the BigOuest infrastructure (pooling of the ABiMS and GenOuest platforms) and that of IFREMER.
