Trainings

Obtaining dedicated computing spaces, creating accounts for a group, creating VMs available to students, but also finding teaching materials, the IFB/ELIXIR-FR service offer can support you in organizing training courses. See offer details.

You can consult the catalogue of training courses organised by the IFB and its platforms or at the European level.

An IFB working group is seeking to create innovative solutions for online training; all the details are on the e-learning page.

You may wish to propose a training topic that you feel is missing from the general range of bioinformatics training courses. Or perhaps you have already organized a training course that deserves to be shared with the community. Maybe you would like to add a course to our catalog to improve its reach… For all these questions, you can send a request to the training department’s contact address.

Data management plan, FAIR attitude and Open Science

The IFB is committed to promoting the development of Data Management Plans from the initial design stage of research projects. Please feel free to ask us questions using the contact form below. If you are more familiar with DMPs, we maintain the DSW@IFB instance, which is available to the community.

Through the Research Data Gov ecosystem, the State is committed to ensuring that research data is easy to find, accessible, interoperable and reusable (FAIR). In this context, IFB has been chosen as the Thematic Reference Centre for Biology and Health. It therefore contributes to the definition and adoption of standards for the description and dissemination of data in the field of biology and health.

Because interoperability is closely linked to the FAIR principle, the IFB tries to support the needs of the life sciences community through several dynamics: the development of tools promoting interoperability , the development of the CRT , the implementation of specific training courses
